Independent Living Units are one of the best purchasing decisions retirees can make when they are looking to downsize their home.

Retirees pay an entry contribution which is refundable when they leave; except for a negotiated retention. However, if the next retiree pays an entry contribution greater than the original contribution the original retiree or their estate, receive 50% of the difference. The entry contribution is not subject to the same taxes as purchasing a property, with considerable savings. Additionally the entry contribution is not means tested and is based on an independent assessment of the value of the unit.

All units feature quality fittings, including dishwashers and reverse cycle heating and cooling.

The entry contribution and a small monthly payment linked to a percentage of the aged pension give the occupants peace of mind as ALL rates, building insurance, unit maintenance and equipment maintenance is taken care of.
