Many people in the municipality have a family member or friend who provides care to help them continue to live at home.

But, carers sometimes need support to keep going and may need a break for a few days, or longer. For example, if you are ill or recovering from an illness or even to take a holiday.

Respite care is a chance for you and the person you care for, to take a break.

We will care for them in a lovely rural setting and give them the care and love that you want them to have.

If you think you or the person you are looking after may need respite care, you can talk to your local doctor, the Aged Care Assessment Team, or a Commonwealth Respite and Carelink Centre.
